these colorful geometric photographs are taken by the photographer Michael Wolf. i've seen these images around the web and every time i see the tight but almost whimsical city living spaces... it makes me feel a bit cramped. i do however love all the colors + lights! i enjoy photography that makes you feel something. anything, really! i think an artist that can bring an emotion to the surface... is doing a pretty good job.
what do you think when you see these images??
i for one... feel very thankful for my backyard full of grass, flowers, and a vegetable garden.
happy friday internet! i hope you all had a fantastic week and have some even more fantastic plans for the weekend! and if not... there is something to be said for those weekends where you have absolutely zero plans. our plans are to lounge around our house, watch a couple of movies, and work on the garden. sounds like perfection to me! here are a few links to distract you from working on a Friday afternoon...............................
30 signs you are or are almost 30 years old. so funny & true!
one: a summer bouquet from Trader Joes & short vase from West Elm
happy monday! this 4th of July weekend was a full of food, friends, and one awesome photoshoot! from thursday to sunday we went to 3 BBQ's and hosted one at our house, went on at least one walk each day to our local coffee shop, and even had time to do a deep clean around the house (which always feels amazing once done). as for the photoshoot it was for Southbay Magazine and is my new & very own little column called "Street Style"! i'll make sure to post more about the column once it's published mid-August. how was your weekend???
if you're the bride-to-be, a guest to a wedding, at a summer picnic, or a chic spring-time party... would you dare to sport a Flower Crown??? in theory i would LOVE to say yes, of course i would! with out a doubt! no problemo! but i'm just not sure i could pull off the entire floral crown. like the whole shabang. do you feel the same way? maybe we should start with a half crown, a pretty cluster, or the braided version (like photo above). well, what about you??? are you jumping on the floral bandwagon?
